300–500 mm: Standard for mid-sized EAFs (50–150 tons), supporting 30–80 kA and balancing cost with throughput.
500–750 mm: Critical for large EAFs (150–300 tons), where they handle 80–120 kA currents to melt 200+ tons of scrap per heat, optimizing tap-to-tap times.
