The electrodes loaded in container are cross-fixed with high-strength nylon straps in all directions (back and forth, left and right), while at the bottom of the load the pallets is fixed with oblique wood wedge to prevent the pallets from moving.

Before connecting a new electrode, the threaded hole should be cleaned with compressed air. When the end faces of two electrodes are 20-30 mm apart, conduct a secondary blow with compressed air before tightening the connection.
