The electrodes loaded in container are cross-fixed with high-strength nylon straps in all directions (back and forth, left and right), while at the bottom of the load the pallets is fixed with oblique wood wedge to prevent the pallets from moving.

What Are Graphite Electrodes Mainly Made Of?
Graphite electrodes are primarily made from petroleum coke and needle coke, with coal tar as a binder. They are produced through processes such as calcination, batching, kneading, pressing, roasting, graphitization, and machining. These electrodes release electrical energy in the form of an arc in electric arc furnaces to heat and melt raw materials. Based on their quality, they are categorized into ordinary power, high power, and ultra-high power graphite electrodes.
The main raw material for graphite electrode production is petroleum coke. A small amount of pitch coke can be added to ordinary power graphite electrodes, with sulfur content not exceeding 0.5%. For high power and ultra-high power graphite electrodes, needle coke is required. Aluminum anode production primarily uses petroleum coke, with sulfur content controlled below 1.5% to 2%. Both petroleum coke and pitch coke must meet relevant national quality standards.
