Why is the joint of a graphite electrode so critical? What precautions should be taken when using it?
The joint is the weakest link in the electrode column. It carries the heavy responsibility of transmitting the enormous current and connecting the entire electrode column.
• Precautions: Use a dedicated connector that matches the electrode body; clean the threads before connection to prevent impurities from causing poor contact and arcing; use a torque wrench to tighten according to the manufacturer's standard value. Excessive or insufficient torque can easily damage or break the connector.

Packaging & Shipping
The electrodes loaded in container are cross-fixed with high-strength nylon straps in all directions (back and forth, left and right), while at the bottom of the load the pallets is fixed with oblique wood wedge to prevent the pallets from moving.
