Reducing breakage risk requires both operational and material considerations:
• Standardized operation: Avoid mechanical collisions between the electrode and irregular scrap or the furnace wall; control the heating rate to reduce thermal stress.
• Proper connection: Ensure the electrode joints are clean and tightened to the specified torque, ensuring a vertical and tight connection to avoid additional stress caused by poor connections.
• High-quality products: Choose high-power (HP) or ultra-high-power (UHP) graphite electrodes with high strength and excellent thermal shock resistance.

Packaging & Shipping
The electrodes loaded in container are cross-fixed with high-strength nylon straps in all directions (back and forth, left and right), while at the bottom of the load the pallets is fixed with oblique wood wedge to prevent the pallets from moving.
